Aquada is Botanical Biohacking’s super-premium version of the classical Chinese formula Er Miao Wan, nicknamed “Double Awesome Pills.” It has only two ingredients and has been used, unchanged, for over a thousand years.

In TCM Terms

Er Miao Wan clears damp heat, especially from the lower jiao. Damp heat is the TCM pattern of excess fluid combined with heat, which can settle in the joints, the lower body, the gut, and the skin, giving a heavy, swollen, warm feeling. Ingredients

• Huang Bai / Phellodendron Bark (from 30-year-old trees): clears heat and dries dampness, especially from the lower jiao. Naturally rich in berberine.
• Cang Zhu / Red Atractylodes: high in aromatic volatile compounds. Dries dampness, strengthens the spleen, and expels wind-damp from the channels.
