The people behind the clinic

Crawford Wellness began as McMinnville Community Acupuncture and has grown into a clinic that people travel to from across Oregon, other states, and as far away as Singapore, Germany and the UK. Two practitioners anchor the work — one in the treatment room, one in the yoga studio.

Acupuncture & Chinese herbal medicine

Brehan Crawford, L.Ac.

Licensed acupuncturist — trained with leading practitioners in the US and China

Brehan has spent his career becoming a leader in the treatment of chronic pain and complex chronic illness, using acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and medical qigong for conditions including fibromyalgia, neuropathy, stroke recovery and oncology support.

Through the careful study and treatment of hundreds of patients with chronic Lyme disease, he has refined new ways of applying three thousand years of Chinese medical tradition to help people find a path to remission — work that draws patients to McMinnville from well beyond Oregon.

Jocela Mae Crawford, RYT

Registered yoga teacher — a decade of study in yoga as therapy

Jocela Mae has studied for over a decade how yoga can improve quality of life. A lifetime practitioner, she began her formal training with Amy Cooper in her hometown of Mt. Shasta, California, and continues to study with prominent teachers up and down the West Coast as well as Laurel Beversdorf in New York.

She works alongside local physical therapists, chiropractors and acupuncturists to provide yoga as therapy, teaching adaptive classes in the studio built for exactly that purpose.
