    Where to start

After twenty years of clinical practice, here is the honest truth: most of what I want to teach my patients does not fit into a forty-five-minute appointment. So I built a place where it does.

If you have come to see me for chronic digestive problems  IBS, SIBO, bloating, reflux, food sensitivities that keep multiplying, the constellation of symptoms that no specialist seems able to name — you have probably noticed something. We can move further in our work together when you have a foundation of how the gut actually works.

That foundation is exactly what Dr. Andrew Miles and I built the Gut Brain Synchrony community to provide. It lives on Skool, which is a clean online platform built for learning communities. The free tier is genuinely useful on its own. You do not have to pay anything to learn something that will help you.

This article is a map of what is in there for someone with digestive symptoms specifically — and where to start when you get inside.

“Chronic illness is an ecosystem problem, not a war. ”

    What's Inside

The resources I direct my digestive patients to first.

    PDF · Start Here
    The Gut Health Basics PDF
My foundational guide. Diet, sleep, lifestyle, the TCM principles that govern digestion. Most-engaged post in the community. Save it to your phone — you will return to it for years.
    Video Course · 3 parts
Gut Brain Synchrony Parts I, II, and III
Three short videos covering the respiratory, GI, and urogenital microbiomes. Part II is the most directly gut-focused. Together they take less than fifteen minutes and they reorient how you understand your symptoms.
Practice · The Inner Garden Reset
    Essential Self Care Exercises
Four-stage daily practice: lymphatic flow, gas release, trauma release, pulse and scan. This is where most of my patients feel the first real shift — usually within the first week of doing it consistently.
    Course · 7 Videos
    The Gut-Brain Axis Deep Dive
Seven videos, fourteen to eighteen minutes each. How gut microbes drive how you think and feel. Each lesson includes a Results document you can apply that week. The comprehensive arc.
Specialized · For Lyme & Cluster Conditions
    Botanical Gut Gardening
The herbal approach to balancing the gut. Pressure, the three microbiomes, the four factors, the flavor guide. If you have done elimination diets without lasting relief, this is the framework you were missing.
    Your First Week

If you only have an afternoon.

Once you have joined, here is the order I would put you through if you walked into my clinic for the first time. Four steps. About three hours total if you do them all.

1  ·  Watch Dr. Andrew Miles' welcome video.
Less than two minutes. He will walk you through the community layout and what to do first.
2  ·  Download the Gut Health Basics PDF.
Find it pinned in the Welcome post, or under Community → Gems. Save it to your phone.
3  ·  Work through Gut Brain Synchrony Parts I, II, and III.
Short videos in the Classroom. Part II is the one directly about digestion. Watch them in order.
4  ·  Begin the Inner Garden Reset, today.
Four short stages. Do them once. Then do them again tomorrow. Then again. This is the practice that most often moves the needle in the first week.
    Come find your way in.

Free to join. No credit card. A thoughtful group of people on the other side.

    This Is For You If…

The patients I send here usually arrive with one of these.

✦   IBS, SIBO, chronic bloating, or reflux that has outlasted every diet they have tried

✦   Food sensitivities that keep multiplying instead of resolving

✦   Mystery digestive symptoms that no specialist can pin down

✦   A history of rounds of antibiotics and supplement stacks, with diminishing returns

✦   A sense that the gut, the brain, and the rest of the body are connected — and a desire to treat them that way

    Botanical Support

If you want a formula alongside the practice.

I designed Chorus Gut Harmony Capsules to be the daily botanical companion to this work. It contains Shi Chang Pu for neurogenesis and biofilm disruption, Poria for lymphatic drainage and calming the spirit, and other herbs selected for terrain restoration in chronic gut presentations. Many of my patients take it alongside the community practices.

    Ready When You Are

    Two doors. Same direction.

The free community for the framework and the practices. The capsules for the daily botanical support. You do not need both. You do not need either. But if you want them, here they are.
